The stack
How what runs at home fits together, and the factory that builds it, told from the design documents the work is built from. Nothing here is data: no readings, no rooms and no addresses.
Each piece we built is named for a Greek god, and its name is always written with what it does beside it, such as Cleo (record), so nobody needs the myth to read it.
-
Chess Board (platform)
The platform: one append-only record of facts, one service that writes to it, and everything else derived from it.
-
Hephaestus (software-factory)
The software factory: AI agents that take a written work item to a reviewed, merged and checked change.
-
The cast
Every service we built, named for a Greek god, each with what it does beside it.
-
The hardware
One small always-on server, a Zigbee radio and four sensors, and the machines the work is done on.
The source
The repositories behind all of this are private for now. Each will go public on its own, once its whole history has been swept, and get a link here. See Open source.
